1. Who we are
BucketDays, operated by Micah Camasura, is the data controller for the personal information you provide. You can contact us at hello@bucketdays.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), preferred date, number of people, and the activity booked.
- Payment information: collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Website analytics: basic, non-identifying information about how visitors use the site, such as pages visited.
- Correspondence: any emails you send us.
3. How we use your information
- To process and confirm your booking
- To arrange your experience with the activity provider
- To contact you about your booking, including any changes or cancellations
- To handle refunds and respond to your enquiries
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
Our lawful basis for processing is the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interests in operating the service.
4. Who we share it with
- The activity provider delivering your experience — only the details needed to fulfil the booking (typically your name, date and any requirements).
- Stripe, our payment processor.
- Our email provider, for sending booking confirmations.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations (typically six years for financial records), then delete them.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data, where we have no ongoing legal reason to keep it
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
To exercise any of these, email hello@bucketdays.co.uk.
7. Cookies
Our site may use essential cookies needed for it to function, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant, meaning your card details are encrypted and never pass through our systems.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
